Course Code: CTSCAN

This course will teach the student to operate and utilize computerized tomography scanners to produce images of patient’s internal structures. The course will include radiation protection, and will provide discussion on pathology that will be encountered and protocols and patient care techniques for that pathology. The contrast media that will be taught is specific to CT Scanning. Theory and clinical experiences will prepare student to participate in the ARRT CT Scanning Certificate Examination and for employment as an entry level CT Scan Imager.

Age 17 Years and above, 10+2 Passed ( Biology or Math) with minimum 40% of marks.

(n) Radiation hazards and radiation protection. (o) PET C.T./recent advance.
