Ranganathan (Father of Library Science in India) Nursing is a noble profession within the health care system focused on the care of individuals, families and communities. Nurses develop a plan of care, working collaboratively with physicians, therapists, the patient, the patient’s family, and other team members that focus on treating illness to improve quality of life.
This academic library of nursing college is aimed to fulfill the information needs of budding nurses and teachers. The library of Heritage College of Nursing is equipped with necessary learning resources to promote academic excellence and self-learning. Latest editions of nursing books are procured every year and offered for referencing and circulation (issue-return). The library is attached to nursing college building and located near the classroom.
Library has more than 3000 books on nursing based on current curriculum of Indian Nursing Council and Uttar Pradesh State Medical Facility. Library procures latest books on nursing every year. Library also subscribes print journals for providing updated knowledge to its end users. Library provides newspaper service for students, teachers and non-teaching staff. The seating capacity of the library at a time is 70. The library is surveillanced under CCTV
